Questions
To do good, or to do evil; which path will be chosen?
Of divine light or wicked shroud, will my life be woven?
Dare I follow evil? Dare I manipulate, steal, and kill?
Dare I risk everything by following evils will?
Or do I possess the strength for a greater path?
Instead of obeying; do I turn and face an undefeatable wrath?
Should I fight the darkness with mind, soul, and fist?
Have I even the strength to resist?
Will these questions drive me to sanitys brink?
Well enough of me talking, what do you think?
A waitress walked over to a table and placed a steaming cup of coffee on it.
Coffee, she said Black, like you asked.
Thank you. The young man who sat there responded. He gave her a 25% tip and turned back towards the window.
She walked back to the kitchen; something about that guy gave her a weird feeling. The stare in his dark blue eyes, as if they looked straight at her, yet didnt see her at all. She shook her head; shed seen his kind before, after all, a smart young punk whose mind was miles away from his head.
In reality, Creeds mind was just across the street, in the building he
A whiff of cloud swirled around the crown of heavens top
It slowly spun smaller till it became a dewdrop
The miniscule pearl fell from its cozy light turf
And picked up speed as it plummeted toward earth
It mixed with the dust in the smog-choked air
Becoming a piece of coal, slightly thicker than hair
It hurled past earth and fell toward hell faster
It knew little that it was headed for disaster
Through throngs of demons that thrashed and cried
Through an unspeakable maelstrom, the infinitesimal bit flied
Bathed in hellfire, battered by claws, the coal further shrank
Until falling into a pit that was cold, putrid, and dank

Jasmine, are you paying attention? Huey questioned.
Jasmine shook the sleep from her eyes and lifted her head up.
Yeah, she said. I was just resting my eyes.
Good. Huey responded. Because this next part is important. He pointed to his computer monitor where a downloaded video file of a soda commercial was playing on a loop. It featured a blond woman sip from a glass of Sprite and flick ice cubes into the air while laughing. Suddenly, Huey hit the pause button.
Now if you look closely, he said. Youll notice eight computer generate
The Chief was scratching his barren scalp when Terry West swaggered in. His frayed beige trench coat was flapping ominously in the windless room. He wore a loose red tie and a stained white shirt. His fedora, also beige, was pulled so far down his face that his eyes were completely covered. No one in the precinct knew how he could see; all that was visible of his face was his broken nose, stubble-covered chin and the smoldering cigarette he had clenched in his teeth. He sat down in the chair in front of the desk with his mug of coffee and blew a smoke ring out his left nostril.
The Chief stared at him and pointed to the no smoking sign on
Batman arrived at the Batcave still a little shaken from the recent confrontation with his newly super powered foe. He jumped out of the Batmobile caressing his ribcage and walked toward the computer. He had barely taken three steps until he heard;
Nice digs ya got here. Very Dracula.
He whirled around to see Spider-man hanging off one of the stalactites on the ceiling.
How did you follow me here? Batman demanded.
I stuck your ride with a tracer. I followed from a safe distance away so you wouldnt see me. Then Spider-man jumped down to the floor and looked around, Judging by our surroun
The sky above the city was dark and gray. It was near midnight and the sky was congested with a thick haze. A figure wearing a furry bodysuit and cat ears was perched on a buildings rooftop, staring though binoculars at a window on the neighboring building. Inside, there were four men inside. One with a sharkskin suit spoke to two other men wearing dark suits and cowboy hats, the fourth sat in a chair with eyes closed and his head tilted downward. The sharksuited man was horribly disfigured, his head was completely bald and he was missing his nose, ears, and upper lip, giving him the appearance of a shark. Due to the missing facial ext
How long was I out this time? asked the corpse.
A blond-headed sixteen year-old boy wearing a surgeons garb and wielders gloves checked his watch and said, About a month and a half. I practically had to rebuild your head from scratch! Its a fricken miracle you still have all your brains. You gotta be more careful out there D-man.
The stiff rolled his eyes, At least I go out there. Steven, when was the last time you left this building?
He rolled his eyes and tapped his chin thoughtfully. About six months ago. I like it down here, your dad lets me play with his companies mainf
