The sky above the city was dark and gray. It was near midnight and the sky was congested with a thick haze. Review: The Spectacular Spider-Man Ep. 1

Freaking. Awesome. Thats what I was thinking while watching the hour-long season premier of the Spectacular Spider-man. I wish I could say I was surprised by how good it was, but with guys like Greg Weisman and Sean Cheeks Galloway, how could I expect any less than the best? All right, enough ass kissing, time for the real meat of the review. The animation is excellent. I grew up with the 90s Spider-Man TAS and, not to knock that show, but the recycled scenes were kind of distracting. The writing is superb. Given the success of my Superman: Doomsday review, I have decided to do this more often. So here is review #2: The season premiere of The Boondocks. I would like to say upfront that the episode was awesome. It features better animation than the first season episodes. But fortunately, the bizarre storylines haven't changed a bit.
